poison garden anthology
There is magic that happens when we allow powerful plants to build community through different voices. Collaborating is where myths are born, where we can overlap our stories to deepen our own relationships with the plants and each other.
The Poison Garden pays artists, writers, and editors to make work exploring individual plants and general themes of poison. We also work exclusively with small businesses and locally owned shops to distribute our books.

From an initial concept to a finished book that you can hold in your hands, there's nothing more thrilling to us than helping an idea come to life.
We favor projects that are experimental, playful, or wildly creative. We love new ways of thought that spark our readers' imaginations and expand their worldviews.

We love turning book dreams into reality with custom hardcover bindery. Whether it is a single book or multiple, we can work together to create an heirloom-quality special edition.
Every step of the bindery process is done skillfully by hand in our Appalachian studio and can be adjusted to your specifications. We can work together to select the best size, paper, cover fabric, and embellishments for your project.
